Inspiring visit from European agricultural advisors

On 9 July, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of European agricultural advisors to Vanhoucke Machine Engineering as part of the OrganicAdviceNetwork Cross Visit. During this three-day study tour, advisors from several European countries explored innovative techniques and practical approaches to weed management in organic vegetable production.

During their visit, we introduced our company and presented our activities. As a family-owned business, we design and manufacture machinery for the vegetable and organic farming sectors, with a strong specialization in mechanical and thermal weed control. Innovation, ease of use, and sustainability are at the heart of everything we do.

We also highlighted several of our latest developments, including AI-powered applications that enable even more precise and efficient weed control. By continuously investing in innovative solutions, we help farmers meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Following the presentation, the group attended a demonstration of our thermal weed burner. This gave participants the opportunity to see our technology in action and exchange ideas and experiences on sustainable weed management in organic farming.
